RUPAUL'S Show

RuPaul's Drag Race was a very interesting show. I've actually seen sceenes of this show before when flipping through the channels.

This show uses much of the same technology that opera used years ago (including make-up, props for each challenge, outfits, and personal style.

Throughout the show, the women participate in challenges that portray glamour, heart, and attitude. In episode 3, the contestants had to take on the persona of Opera. I thought the turn-out was very interesting. It's very hard to embody someone else's personality. It's not just about make-up and appearance. You have to find a voice and attitude unlike your own. That is what performance art is all about. Also, the contestants on this show use their body as a piece of art and they are creating something great.
